picture of signing partnersThe U.S. institutions instrumental in founding the JRCEEC in 2006 include the UT/ORNL Joint Institute for Biological Sciences (JIBS), the University of Tennessee's (UT) Institute for a Secure and Sustainable Environment (ISSE), and UT’s Center for Environmental Biotechnology (CEB). On the Chinese side, participating units from the Chinese Academy of Sciences include the Institute of Geographical Science and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR) and the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Science (RCEES). New partners include: the University of Science and Technology of China, and the University of Tennessee's Institute of Agriculture.
